The Application Compatibility Factory (ACF) program is an initiative that teams Microsoft with Service Partners to help customers overcome application compatibility. Partners can take advantage of the ACF Proof of Concept (PoC) Program to assist in accelerating EA renewals and to help customers more easily deploy Windows® 7 and/or Internet Explorer.
Microsoft will fund up to CDN $5,000 per approved 5 Day PoC or CDN $3,000 per approved 3 Day PoC, for qualified ACF/IE trained technology partners that meet the following requirements.
Requirements:
It is mandatory that ACF PoC’s are conducted by an ACF Trained Technology Partner by completing the Windows Application Compatibility 2-day Training.
It is highly recommended for IE Application Compatibility that you also complete the IE Online Training course.
Technology Partners must sign and submit a
2-way agreement
to
subsidiary contact
.
Technology Partners must submit a
Statement of Work (SoW)
to be approved prior to the start of the engagement.
Technology Partners must have the customer sign the
customer release form
and submit to
subsidiary contact
.
Technology Partners must submit a
PoC Completion Report
at the end of each engagement.
Partners must have completed the Windows Application Compatibility 2-day Training.

Find customer and align with Microsoft Account Team.

Present SOW to

for approval.

Technology Partners must have the customers sign the

Conduct PoC.
7.
Complete and Submit the
PoC Completion Report.
8.
Upon approval, invoice Microsoft. Contact the subsidiary program lead to learn specific invoicing steps for your region.
