The Microsoft Desktop Optimized Pack (MDOP) Proof of Concept (PoC) Program assists in accelerating EA renewals and the deployment of Windows and MDOP by helping customers understand the value of Windows 7 Enterprise and MDOP through a packaged PoC offering.

Microsoft will fund up to CDN $5,000 per approved 5 Day PoC or CDN $3,000 per approved 3 Day PoC, for qualified MDOP technology partners that meet the following requirements.

Program Execution In 8 Steps
.
1. Sign and submit a 2-way agreement to subsidiary contact.
2. Get material by downloading the SOW PoC Template and guidance.
3. Find customer and align with Microsoft Account Team.
4. Present SOW to subsidiary contact for approval.
5. Technology Partners must have the customers sign the customer release form and submit to subsidiary contact
6. Conduct PoC.
7. Complete and Submit the PoC Completion Report.
8. Upon approval, invoice Microsoft. Contact the subsidiary program lead to learn specific invoicing steps for your region.
