Workaround(s)
A good suggestion for letting us know that any of the betas we are enrolled in have updated information such as:
1. new surveys/questionaires
2. updated new builds for download
3. other relevant new updated information

On the "old" BetaPlace there is/was a "to-do" list whenever a new survey was being offered on the main BP page.

If something similar was added to the "my participation" page of Connect it would be very helpful.

This could be done by several means:

1. add an extra column so that any time there is new info, etc. an asterisk (*) can be placed there letting us know there is new info

2. maybe changing the font of the particular beta(s) in the list as a way of letting us know

There are other ways of course, but it would be very helpful if something along these lines could be implemented

Hi Dremt,

We fixed some of this with our recent release, but I'm going to keep this open as an idea to call out the "to-do" list. I like that idea a lot.

Obviously things have changed quite a bit with Connect since I first proposed this suggestion.

There is no longer a "My Participation" page...replaced with the "Dashboard", but the idea behind the suggestion is still valid.

I would alter the suggestion in the following way..to fit the "DshBoard" format":


On the dashboard, directly under each beta's title...there is text that says
"New Items". Usually this location is used for listing Downloads and/or
Surveys that have been added for that particular beta.

I'd like to see any new items added, such as the examples mentioned above,
highlighted in BOLD 'red' text (rather than the washed out blue used now) so that
they stand out more prominently when scanning the dashboard for any new
items that have been added. The washed out blue text can easily be lost
amongst all other text.

NOTE: I'm not referring to the text that says "New Items"...just the actual
new items listed (if any)
