Hi !

Currently we cannot view the attachment of a report. Also not of other ones public reports on Connect. We should at least be able to view those in case of screenshots.

Best regards and have a nice day!

Hi Leen!

In our upconing release of Connect V2.0, we will display the File Attachments made by customers whey they are filing / updating their feedback items. However, this will be a display only option. At this time, we have no plans to expose file attachments to clickable links.

Note: The exception however are those file attachments sent to you by Microsoft. These will be actionable links which you could click on and obtain the files.

Thanks,
Glenn Bulat (Program Manager - Microsoft Connect)

Hi.

This comment comes in the sequence of a duplicated item submited by me with ID 350684
What if you let the person who submits the attachment choose the permissions for others between private, read-only, or downloadable?

Best wishes

Glad to see that connect doesn't care about getting bugs verified or fixed!

This isn't a feature request. This is a request to improve the IE FEEDBACK CONNECT site so that it can actually work better.

I CAN NOT VERIFY ANYONE ELSE'S TEST CASES BECAUSE I CAN'T SEE THE ATTACHMENTS.

This was discussed significantly during the IE7 betas as a major roadblock to using Connect to solve IE's missing public bug tracking.

I'm having the same kind of problem as Steve, except I can't see the screen shots that others attach to their bugs and they can't see the ones I've attached to mine. I can't even see the attachments to bugs that *I* added to the bug. If the bug is public, the attachments should be too. worst-case, even if you want to default to "private" visibility for attachment content, we need an option so bug owners can let others see the attachments.

Without viewing the screen shots I attach to my bugs, it's much harder for others to know whether the bug they're seeing is the same as what I'm describing or not. Pics = 1k words and all that :)
