On 11/13/11, I downloaded and installed the latest series of updates through Windows Update on my Dell Studio. After restarting the computer, instead of the logon screen, I was met with a dialog box stating a "Bad Image - logonui.exe" - "twinui.dll is either incompatible with this system or has an error. Please reinstall" or something to that effect. Even after closing the dialog box and proceeding to log in, I was unable to open the start menu or connect to the internet. In addition, my desktop was replaced with a black screen.

After uninstalling the latest updates and restarting the computer, the problem went away. Perhaps there is a potential bug in the latest series of updates?
