I have a MSDN WebSiteSparks Subscription. In this area there is two Expression Studio 3 downloads. One is the CD version and the other download is the DVD version.

The CD version doesn't require a Product Key to be entered. The DVD version requires a producy key.

The CD version is the full version of Expression 3 with all 4 programs. The DVD version has 3 programs. It's missing Expression Blend 3.

Is this by designed?. Expression Blend 3 is the hub between VS 2008 Pro, Expression Design 3 and Expression Encore 3.

Suggestion

Went into the CD version setup directory and ran Blend_en.msi and BlendSDK_en.msi and then entered the DVD product key.
Add Expression Blend 3 to the DVD version. Otherwise that suite will be almost useless for design tools purposes.

Thank you for your interest.
The MSDN WebSiteSparks subscription allows for 2 Expression Web Studio downloads and one Expression Studio download. Please note that Expression Studio download comprises of 4 products where as Expression Web Studio download comprises of 3 products.
Hence this is by design.

Thank you for the response. I can't figure out why they left the most inportant part of the suite out. Expression Studio's 3 is primary use for design and not coding.
