Expression Encoder Pro SDK Licensing Problems by JesseEzell

Our solution recently started throwing this exception when run under Windows 2008 R2:

Microsoft.Expression.Encoder.FeatureNotAvailableException: H.264 - This functionality is only available in the fully-featured Expression Encoder Pro.

Launching the Expression application with the same user that is executing the code and going to the about box shows that the application is fully licensed, however, when running code that uses the SDK on the same machines, we get this error. We were able to use refection to turn on licensing debugging and the licensing checks think that the licensing is in the out of box grace period. However, the same licensing debugging information says that the product is fully licensed when the Expression application itself is running.

We have tried reinstalling Expression, rebooting, installing on another machine, etc. Nothing we have been able to do will resolve this error.
