Description

Microsoft IE9 now requires download selection every time a document is selected. For instance, I work for a large company and use the intranet to retrieve drawings via IE9. I retrieve thousands of drawings per week. When I must answer the question, "what would you like to do with file...open, save, etc..." every single time, it costs our company hours per week. This is real money lost versus IE8, where the drawing popped up on the screen in milliseconds. Oh, did I mention our company has 119,000 employees all having the same problem? I sincerely hope you can come up with an option for companies such as ours where we are on a secure network and do not need this added "pop-up" security feature. I do appreciate you listening to our quandry. Thank you. Brian Standridge

Thank you for your feedback.

Are you having problems with IE9 or IE10 because your notes mention IE9 but you were using a Win8 IE10 machine to file this report. Please verify which browser you are using and if you are using IE10Metro on Windows 8, you will want to use the desktop version of IE10 on Windows 8 to perform the tasks you are referring to.
