Description

HTML5/CSS3 in IE10 standards mode
I saw what seems to be a glitch with IE rendering - we have a div in our page with a box-shadow styling and when the content inside that div changes (JS code does this) the element shrinks. The repainting rectangle does not include the box shadow. (The screenshot illustrates the result after resizing.)
When there is a mouse hover over standard controls, like drop down, that region of the screen repaints and clears that portion of the box shadow. Similarly, resize of the window will repaint the entire client area and clear the box shadow.

Note that the issue is also documented on StackOverflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14703099/ie-9-and-10-box-shadow-on-resizing-element).

Is this a known issue/are there plans to fix this?

actual behavior:
Client area repainting does not clear the box shadow from the screen.
