It has been so long ago that your IE search engines have been trouble free..... maybe it was IE2 that was a good one? Not even sure if there was an IE2.
But I get the window of cannot find website about as many times as I get the website I am looking for.
I use IE11, Firefox, and Google Chrome... Chrome really messed up when they got rid of igoogle.
Firefox....the video clips locks up about as many times as it works.
IE11 is guilty of all.
I am a NASCAR fan. I can open IE11 and TRY to go to NASCAR....I finally get on Firefox and it opens real quick while you are still hunting for the website. I click on a video I want to watch in Firefox, and it crashes....sometimes by that time you have found the website
AND what is wrong with the popups all of a sudden???? All of you.. I get transfer to different websites with them advertising something... most common is a windows update... having nothing to do with Microsoft.

Hello koolnightes,
Thank you for the feedback. We would like to understand more about what you are experiencing but in order to do so we will need to ask a few questions.

To aid our investigation we should narrow down this feedback to a very specific issue. It seems that your feedback deals with unexpected popups when visiting a trusted website like nascar.com. Would this be a correct statement of the issue you are reporting?

I have just tested nascar.com with a fully patched version of IE 11 on Windows 8.1 build 11.0.9600.17107 and upon loading the home page I did not see any popups. When you see the popups on nascar.com are you on a specific page like videos, schedule, drivers etc?

If you are still able to reproduce the issue could you please collect a problem state recorder that will take screenshots of how you are reproducing the popups and the pages you visited. To keep things simple let’s stick to the nascar.com website if possible.

NOTE: The first step is to run the problem state recorder which will take screenshots of your desktop. Please close all open windows\applications before starting this process. Please do not open any websites or application that have personal information since that information would be captured with this tool.
Please be sure you are running the lasted update which is build IE 11.0.9600.17107 update 11.0.8 KB2953522
1)    Launch psr.exe (problem state recorder) and click start recording
2)    Close out all open IE windows.
3)    Open taskmgr and look for any running IE Processes. If you find an iexplore.exe please terminate the process.
4)    Launch IE from a command prompt using 'iexplore.exe -extoff'
5)    Load www.nascar.com to attempt repro of the popups
6)    If you are not able to repro close Internet Explorer and relaunch it this time without using the –extoff switch. Again attempt to repo
7)    Click stop on the problem state recorder and attach the logfile.

Thank you for helping us address this issue,
The Internet Explorer Team

Hey Koolnightes,

I totally agree with you. IE is not like it use to be. I have had some problems with it that I started using Google Chrome. The speed on Chrome is great and the speed on IE is not as good as it was. I even now am having trouble loading websites and youtube videos. As for the pop-ups I keep getting the same ones too "Please update Windows" or "Please update flash player" and everytime before I would click the link. I would check and my window OS or flash player would be up to date. So, I would just close the pop-up message/webpages. I think we need an updated or more improved verison of pop-up blocker for IE.

I also have my problems with IE and I think microsoft should try to fix these problems too for IE users. I think you and I have the same problems and may both agree that IE needs to have some bugs fix on it. So, I would say you and I are on the same page.

Hope this helps you know that someone out there is having the same problems as you and totally agree with you
