If System Restore is disabled on the system you may get the following error

PS> Checkpoint-Computer -Description PSRestorPoint -RestorePointType APPLICATION_INSTALL
Checkpoint-Computer : This command cannot be run due to the following error: the service cannot be started because it
is disabled or does not have enabled devices associated with it.


The error doesn't say which is the required service?


Restore points can be created once in 24 hours.

PS> Checkpoint-Computer -Description PSRestorPoint -RestorePointType APPLICATION_INSTALL
PS> Checkpoint-Computer -Description PSRestorPoint -RestorePointType APPLICATION_INSTALL
WARNING: A new system restore point cannot be created because one has already been created within the past 24 hours. Please try again later.
