The PS windows only closes after 3 - 5 seconds when using Read-Host (without any input).

My OS: Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
I can confirm that this bug also affects the 32-bit version.

I don't know if this issue existed previously
Reproduction Steps
1.) Open a PowerShell window
2.) Type 'Read-Host' and press [Enter]
3.) Close the window via [X]

The window won't close immediately.
Expected Results
The window should close immediately.
