Description

The output of Get-Command for exes is pretty much worthless:

PS> gcm mstest

CommandType     Name                                             ModuleName
-----------     ----                                             ----------
Application     MSTest.exe

I usually know it is an exe and I certainly know the name. What I want to know is the path for the exe. Don't make me go having to look for that when it's the most common thing folks want to know. And if there's room, the file version is often something folks want to know about an exe.

Agree. In 50% cases I do Get-Command in order to locate an executable or a script. In 100% of these cases I have to run the command twice because at first I always forget to use a trick like "| Format-List" in order to work around the missing Path in the default results.

This NEEDS to apply for ExternalScript as well.

As a minimum, the 3rd column (which is currently the "ModuleName" column) could be populated with the value of the PATH property for those command types.
