Wmi Class win32_quickfixengineering does not include InstalledOn date for all patches
8/22/2013 7:59:35 AM
User(s) can reproduce this bug
The DOS command "wmic qfe" returns the InstalledOn date for all patches, whereas POSH v2 and v3 only include the InstalledOn date for some patches.
Windows Server 2008 R2 (POSH v2)
Windows Server 2008 R2 (POSH v3)
Windows 7 (POSH 3)
How often does this happen?
Have you seen this problem before in this product?
I do not know if this issue existed previously
Test code - run the command below and notice that many patches are listed without a value for InstalledOn
Get-WmiObject -Class "win32_quickfixengineering" | ft HotFixID,InstalledOn
The command should give equivalent results to running wmic qfe
