Hi Guys,

I have trying all solutions I found in internet, none of them works for me.

I solve this problem by uninstall my AVG 9.5.

Hope this could help some one else.

Both shdocvw.dll and mshtml.dlll kick up the error below. This also happens when running regsvr32.exe against the DLLs from c:windows\syswow64

The module "xxxxx.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegistereServer was not found.

Make sure that "xxxxx.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and try again.

mshtml.dll is not registering with regsvr32.exe command.

I've done the reinstall job, but considering my machine was freshly built Windows 2007 pro I am reluctant to reinstall windows 2007.
Once this error message comes up, if I try to click on the + symbol to see the rest of the tree it gets stuck showing "expanding..." then the GUI crashes out.

I've got Windows 7 pro 64bit and this just started happening after our SQL servers were updated.

Using a new installation of Windows 7 and SQL Server Management Studio 2005. Install Sourcegear's Vault client 4.0.6 and this exact message will occur when you launch SSMS 2005 and try to connect to a SQL Server.

Hello - I'm not able to reproduce this here. I suggest you attempt this again on a machine with a clean installation.

Thanks for submitting!

On a 64-bit Win-7 machine, the following seems to work. I do have Vault 3.x installed, so possibly this is the cause.
What would be nice is if MSFT were to detect this error and do an auto-fix or at least suggest one.
