Workaround(s)
When you look at the history of a job its very awkward because if you find something has failed you then have to
1. go to the jobs node in object explorer
2. find the job
3. open it
4. find the required step
5. open the required step

It would be much easier if you could just double click on the job history and item and have it pop up the specifc job step.

I reckon it takes ~ 20s to perform this when you have a small number of jobs. If you had 100s of jobs finding the job will take much longer.

If I have 20 jobs I need to look into during a day, making this change would save me 4 days per year. Thats for 1 person.

If you don't want to do it, then let me extend the tools to do this myself.

Hi Simon,
Thanks for reporting this issue. We will look into this and update this space. Meanwhile, do you know that we are enabling the logviewer to read offline logs. You will hear about this shortly. We will look into this issue and get back to you.
