Workaround(s)
When creating any kind of window over your streams you have Input and Output policies. Output policies have to be specified and Input are optional.
Both policy types have only one option available for each type of window so why enforce the Output Policy and not the Input Policy. I am willing to bet that most people do not even know an Input policy exists

Proposed Solution

Make me do both or neither. If the options for each type of policy increases over time then introduce them together and force them together.

Allan,
Thanks for this feedback. I fully agree with you and this is something that we are planning to address with our upcoming version, by introducing overloads that don't require the user to specify any policies for windows.
Regards,
Roman
