Why hasn't an ugrade PID been made available via MSDN Subscription? How can we test upgrading a SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise installation to SQL Server 2012 when the upgrade path is not supported without a PID?

=> From above logs I see that you are trying to upgrade SQL 2008 R2 ENTERPRISE edition to Denali Evaluation Edition.
=> This upgrade path is not supported as you cannot upgrade to Evaluation Edition of Denali.
=> In this case you need to get an upgrade PID.
=> I would recommend you to get in touch with you TAP PM and he will help you get one with which you can test it.
=> You can reply to the forum post or send me an email to bhupinder.sachdeva@microsoft.com if you have more questions for me.

Thanks,
Bhupinder.

Bhupinder,
I would be happy to do this if you will kindly tell me where the log will be located.
All I find is:
FeatureUpgradeMatrixCheck Checks whether the specified feature meets SQL Server "Denali" CTP3 upgrade requirements. Failed The specified edition upgrade is not supported. For information about supported upgrade paths, see the SQL Server "Denali" CTP3 version and edition upgrade in Books Online.
And it will not let me go past the "Ugrade Rules" screen.
Thanks,
Anita
