User(s) can reproduce this bug
Installing SQL Server RC0 on server core using the /UIMODE=EnableUIOnServerCore does show the installation center UI, but selecting 'Installation / New Standalone Installation' does not show the SQL server installation UI. Instead, nothing happens.
None of the actions on the Installation Center UI work.

Hi,

Thank you for the update.

At the time this bug was logged (RC0), this feature was documented in the BOL.
This information is no longer available in the RTM books online.

Thanks,
Dirk

Hi Dirk, after looking into this we determined that this was not an officially supported feature. Did you find this documented somewhere?

thanks,

I give two workarounds to this here in my post http://tenbulls.co.uk/2012/09/19/using-the-sql-server-installation-wizard-on-server-core/

Regards,

Mark.
