Description

Hi

We are trying to upgrade SQL server 2012 RC1 to RTM in our dev environments and failed for three attempts in three servers. I have attached an "Evaluation Report" on this upgrade. It seems the upgrade of Sql 2012 rc1 to rtm breaks when AlwaysOn is available. Also the upgrade does not work for DataServiceEngine.

Please advice if its advisable to upgrade RC1 to RTM or its not possible and we need to do fresh install of RTM and no upgrade( or prod servers are in RC1 Environment).

After carefully evaluating all of the suggestion items in our pipeline, we are closing items that we will not implement in the near future due to current higher priority items. We will re-evaluate the closed suggestions again in the future based on the product roadmap.

Thanks again for providing the product suggestion and continued support for our product.

Hi Purinder, thanks for taking the time to report this issue. In order to facilitate further investigation can you attach the setup log files to the connect item?

thanks,
