In the MSDN documentation for installing SQL 2008 from a Command Line mentions nothing about the required switch /IAcceptSQLServerLicenseTerms except in the Community Content.

In the other versions (105) and (110) they do contain many references to this switch.

Should be reference in each commandline with a /Q, and it should be referenced in the tables illustrating all the command line switches.

Hi Ben,

Doc refeshes of the SQL Server 2008 content are few and far between. Even if I update the source, it might not be published on MSDN for a long time (ever?).

Updating is easy, but unless there is a high priority reason to republish this content, you won't see the updates on MSDN.

For now, resolving the bug as By Design. Please reactivate if I need to request publication of these docs for this issue.
