I'm ok with closing this issue.

If it re-occurs, should I submit another mini-dump?

Hi,

Do let us know if this issue re-occurs. Since the mini-dump does not provide us with any extra information in diagnosing the av(at least nothing new when compared to the earlier fix) I am going to close this connect item if that's alright with you.

Thanks,
Amit Saraff

Hi,

This is a known issue that was fixed in an earlier release and ported. A repro, therefore, would be helpful in figuring out if this is a new scenario.

A lot of changes were made to the FT engine to reduce blocking between fulltext queries, indexing and merge in SQL Server 2012. Subsequently, TF 7646 was removed.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce this and it also hasn't re-occured. I've went through the web logs from around that time and have re-ran all the FT queries that would have been generated and all were successful.

Also, we're using Traceflag 7646 due to the high volume of insertiong/deletions/searches hitting the FT index. This was a neccessity under 2008. We haven't tried turning it off under 2012 yet.

Hi,

Thank you for notifying us of this issue. It would be very helpful if you could share a repro to enable a faster debug/fix scenario.

Thanks,
