I just installed SSMS 2012 and the Help Menu is missing a number of items:

How Do I
Search
Contents
Index
Help Favorites
Dynamic Help

According to the Help documentation, these should be present (as they were in SSMS 2008R2).

How can I get these to show up?

Thanks

Louis, thanks for your response. From everything I've read (including the link you provided), I should be able to configure help from SSMS via Tools\Options\Environment. I've seen information saying to go there, and expand Help. However, on my system there is no Help in Environment.

I have all the documentation installed, and can view it by pressing F1, e.g., but the window is not integrated into SSMS (runs outside). I'm not sure what's wrong, but all that I've read on this indicates using the above tools\options\environment\help, which I do not have.

Thanks for any help with this.

Please see the following MSDN article about using product documentation for SQL Server 2012 - specifically, the sections on installing and accessing documentation: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms166020.aspx.

Thanks,

Louis Berner
