Workaround(s)
In SQL Server 2012, you are not able to create a synonym on top of a sequence. When sequences are associated with a specific schema, this would be helpful, as most other objects you are able to use this functionality.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Since other object types can have 3 or 4 part names, we prioritized supporting synonyms. Since sequences are usually 1-2 part names, our recommendation is to try to align this with the naming scheme being used for the rest of the synonyms. Given our current set of prioritizations, we unfortunately won't be able prioritize adding this so resolving this connect item.
