Workaround(s)
Since a Database Snapshot is READ_ONLY, it would seem ideal to remove any "New..." option when you right on a Database Snapshot object folder such as Database Diagram, Views, Tables, Synonyms etc. in Management Studio. This would improve Object Explorer

The same would apply for a READ_ONLY database

The Solution Explorer shows a view of your filesystem folders so any folder is valid for the New menu item. I understand it might be clearer, but I don't want folks to think that folder is somehow more special than any other.
