When attempting to install a slipstreamed version of SQL Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 2, or to apply Service Pack 2 to an existing installation of SQL Server 2008 R2 the Reporting Services service will fail to start if Windows hotfix KB 2661254 (Update for minimum key kength) has been applied.

Installing the hotfix on a system with SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 causes the Reporting Services service to fail to start.

This impacts systems running Reporting Services only, there is no impact on other installations of SQL Server.

Logged under SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 CTP as there is no option for SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2.
