The problem reported here (http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/654802/ssms-2008-grid-results-background-color-setting-ignored) is still a problem in SSMS 2012. If it is not going to be fixed it would nice to know why.

Steps to Reproduce

Set the grid results background color and foreground color. The foreground color will work, but the background color does not.

Actual Results

The foreground color will work, but the background color does not.

Expected Results

Both the foreground color and the background color should work or the option should be removed. Leaving a known broken option in the settings for 5 years now is a little on the ridiculous side.
