Post-deployment scripts in SQLCMD mode do not support the Connect command to switch execution context to a different server. It would be great if any valid SQLCMD syntax could be supported.

Hey Tony,

Thank you for your feedback regarding supporting the :connect SQLCMD statement in SSDT scripts. At this time, we do not have any active plans to expand the set of SQLCMD syntax supported by SSDT, including this connect statement.
