If you delete a SQL agent job using a stored procedure (or if another user deletes the job) and you subsequently right-click on the deleted job in the SSMS GUI to "Start Job at Step...", the dialog window that pops up cannot be closed using the "X" menu shortcut, nor the "Close" button at the bottom of the dialog.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Create SQL Agent job.
2) Delete sql agent job using stored procedure in SSMS window.
3) Without refreshing job list, right-click on deleted job and choose "Start Job at Step .."

Actual Results

Dialog window unable to be closed using "Close" button.

Expected Results

Dialog window should be able to be closed using "Close" button.

Hello

We took a look at this bug along with several others recently.
Unfortunately, triaging it against other critical bugs, I do not think we would get to investigating this in the near future.
However, we have taken note of this internally, and when we revisit this functionality in the future, we will try and get this resolved.

The workaround is (naturally) to use Task Manager to kill the windows.
