Hi,

The Distributed Queries is not working for 32 Bit Office 2010 under 64 Bit OS. Detailed configuration is:

1. WIndows 7 (64 bit, sure)
2. Microsoft Office 2010(32 Bit, sure)
3. SQL Server 2008 R2 (64 Bit, not sure, how to confirm?)

Msg 7308, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
OLE DB provider 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' cannot be used for distributed queries because the provider is configured to run in single-threaded apartment mode.

Expected Results

Distributed Queries successful.

hi,
when you install SQL the setup tells you about the 32 or 64 bit.. or you may also check it from the registry editor.
