Workaround(s)
Currently there is no good way in the UI to move a large amount of members from under one consolidated member to another. Excel add-on does not deal with hierarchies, and not every user has direct access to the backend database staging tables, so we're left with the Silverlight UI.
There are two problems here:
1. In the tree view, the search function is not powerful enough. The "filter" function in the entity view would be much better.
2. Even if I can locate all the members I need to move in the tree view, I have to select them one by one before I can cut them. It's *a lot of* clicks. A "select all" button will make my life so much easier.

Proposed Solution

Either add a "Select all" button in the tree view to let me select all members returned from search,
Or allow selecting members from the entity table in the middle of the page and pasting them to a consolidated member in the tree view, so I can use filter function to find target members easily and select them all.

Primary Benefit

Improved User Interface

Other Benefits

Virtualization
