Description

Hi,
I was trying to set up a logon-trigger to record logons to SQL Serverin a table (See code below).
Expecting that the Trigger would fire only once for a single logon at a time, I found that that the trigger fired multiple times.
Please investigate.
Regards
Dirk

Hi Drik,

There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your trigger as far as I can tell and I suspect that there are simply some other apps that are connecting to your instance without your knowledge. For example, SSMS will perform a lot of login/logouts as a normal part of its operation behind the covers. THere are no known bugs with logon triggers at this time and if you still wish to continue investigation, please contact CSS.

Thanks.
