Description

We need the ability to view rows as they are being updated. It would be convenient if we could right-click on the table and select "Show Changed Rows" and it will display a real-time grid ordered descendingly when a row is updated.

Hello, breakskater. The change you are suggesting has significant performance implications. Change tracking can be enabled in SQL Server (This is discussed here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc305322.aspx), but this cannot be universally implemented without impacting performance in areas where it provides no benefit. Would using SQL Server Change Tracking be enough to suit your needs? -Walter A Jokiel, Program Manager, SQL Server (wajokiel@microsoft.com)
