Description

The Code Analysis for SSDT database projects doesn't have many rules. We would like to be able to enforce standards in our organization by letting developers know when they have violated the best practices as soon as possible. Additionally, we would like to be able to take advantage of gated check-ins in TFS so we can prevent bad code from even getting into source control.

Hi Bryant,

Thank you for the feedback. In our June release, we just added some new extensibility points (see http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ssdt/archive/2013/06/25/sql-server-data-tier-application-framework-june-2013-available.aspx). The solution you are suggesting would be a very good addition to our extensibility story. We have added it to our list of features for future consideration.

Thanks,

Martin
