Description

When trying to update a target with SSDT data compare and the target database has a unique index there is a possibility that the update will fail if values in the unique index are not in the same order in the source and target.

In order to update databases correctly for cases like this one, you need to choose option “Drop primary keys, indexes and unique constraints”. You can find this option from VS menu “Tools” =>”Options…” => Expand “SQL Server Tools” on the left side => Choose “Data Compare”.
