Description

MSDN description of procedure 'sp_replmonitorhelpsubscription' is here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/fooa681b2db-c82d-4624-a10c-396afb0ac42f.aspx
please navigate to the Result Sets_status column, it says '2 = Succeeded'

I checked the code of the procedure, the status 2 should means 'stopped'
and I did a test: stop SQL Server Agent service, then execute the procedure, the subscribers status are 2.
Thus I believe the status 2 means Stopped rather than Successed.

Fixed this in the SQL Server 2012 and 2014 documentation. It will appear as they are republished. I didn't think this was critical enough for changing SQL Server 2008 documentation. Now reads: Examines the status of all the replication agents associated with the publication, and returns the highest status found in the following order: 6 = Failed, 5 = Retrying, 2 = Stopped, 4 = Idle, 3 = In progress, 1 = Started
Thank you for reporting this.
