Workaround(s)
It would be nice if the IDE remembered the last published location for the project. Right now it resets back to a default location (maybe the precompile one in the MSBuild settings). If you are publishing to a fileshare, it's a pain to have to go search for it everytime you open the project and set it again.

Persist the last published location in the project file. Maybe provide a dropdown of the last 5 or so publish locations to pick from.

This issue has been fixed for the next release of Visual Studio. Thanks for your bug report.
