I'll also add this is an imported VS2003 ASP.NET project imported with the new Web Application stuff.

Unbinding from VSS 2005 Source Control (over HTTP), exiting VS2005 and restarting, stopped this problem.

Thank you for reporting this issue. We think it is caused by having the Exception Assistant enabled. There is a known compatibility issue between the exception assistant and Web Application Projects which can cause unstable behavior. Do you have the Exception Assistant enabled? The errors you are reporting sound like the failures that would result if the exception assistant was invoked. You should turn off the exception assistant by choosing your tools->options menu item, and then unchecking the "Enable the Exception Assistant" checkbox under the Debugging->General category.

Thanks,

The Web Platform & Tools Team

Same error msg here on following configuration:

BizTalk Server 2006 R2
Visual Studio 2005 SP1
Visual SourceSafe 2005, including the 12/11/2007 update.

Involves a solution that contains both a C# unit test project and some BizTalk projects, one of which is containing maps. Surprisingly, removing the test project (or changing it into a regular C# project by removing the ProjectTypeGuids line from the .csproj file) stops these errors.

Please reopen.
