Description

Design view complains "The page contains markup that is not valid when attached to a Master Page" when using "StylesheetTheme" with in a page that uses a master page. It can be fixed when I modify the source code, even I just press a space.

Please,
there is a SP road-map for Visual Studio 2008
or error will die with the next realease of Visual Studio?

Still a major annoyance. Every time I load a project I've got to go to Design View and wait for a refresh. When (and is) this going to be fixed??

Is there going to be a proper fix for this at some point? Surely it's an easy one if all you need to do is issue a 'Refresh' if the designer is about to pop up that message! :)

I can easily reproduce this bug.

1) Create a new ASP.NET Web Application project in Visual Studio 2008 RTM.
2) Add the App_Themes directory.
3) Add a .css file to the theme.
4) Add a Master Page
5) Add a Content Page for the new Master Page.
6) Set the StylesheetTheme property to your new theme.
7) View the content page in Design mode.

Hello

Thank you for reporting the issue. As a workaround, instead of editing the file, you can click View | Refresh in Design view and that make content page render correctly.

Thanks
