Microsoft should make Visual Studio For Mac, and If it doesen't feel like making everything, They should just make Visual Web Developer Express Edition for Mac, and C# and/or VB and/or MacScript Express Edition

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately we have no plans to release a development tool for Mac OSX but you may be able to run Visual Studio 2008 under a virtual computing environment such as Parallels or VMWare. In both these cases though you will be developing Windows or Web based applications rather than a Mac OSX based application.

We are also working with 3rd parties to extend access to Visual Studio Team System 2008 Team Foundation Server to non-Microsoft development tools. This would enable you to use TFS to perform Application Lifecycle Management across both Visual Studio and non-VS tooling. Please check http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio for more information.

If you have further questions please feel free to contact me directly.

Since Visual Studio requires the .NET framework, and there is no supported .NET implementation for Mac, how would Visual Studio work? Unless you are only taking about developing for Silverlight.

Use non-Microsoft development products, such as XCode or Eclipse on the Macintosh.
