When debugging a Web App script debugging is always enabled with VS2010 and IE8 (note same issue with VS2008) eventhough script debugging has been diabled in IE8.

Note you can work around it by setting Silverlight debugging on.

2. Open a website or web application project and debug,
Actual Results
script debugging has stats in solution explorer.

script debugging should not start

Hi Wizzard,
    Thanks for reporting this issue... Although there is no direct option to help out with the problem you raised but there certainly is a work around which can help you in this case... GregM and myself have put together some quick blogposts on how to work around this at http://vishaljoshi.blogspot.com/2009/06/disabling-script-debugging-with-vs-2010.html... Please do look at the same and let us know if that solves your problem...
    I am currently resolving this bug as by design... If you are dissatisfied then please do reactivate the bug...
