Used SQL Server 2008 64bit and TFS 2010 RC1. Creating a new Task did not resolve the issue. Still a bug

Any updates on when and if this issue will be solved ? I'm getting the same error message. The solution was to create a random task and after about 10 minutes the error message went away.

Same problem here. Windows Server 2008 SP2 Enterprise, x86, SQL Server 2008 SP1 Enterprise, TFS 2010 Beta 2, VS 2010 Ultimate Beta 2.

I am getting the same error on a fresh install of TFS 2010 with SQL 2008 on a seperate box. Both TFS and SQL 2008 are running on Windows Server 2008.

Agreed that this is not the best default behavior. We're looking at ways to improve this.

Thanks.

Same problem.
Environment: TFS2010 fresh install on a fresh Win 2008 Svr R2

Apparently this is the default behavior for those reports when the team project is fresh, no tasks created or anything, less than ideal IMO.

TFS2010 beta 2
Server 2008 SP2
Sql Server 2008 SP1
create new team project (agile)
open project portal and the error appears

Add a new task and wait about 10 minutes. That fixed the problem. You must have at least 1 task in order for it to not error out.
