Hello,

No, I did not mean the Event ID. When you get the dialog saying that an error occured, that is a Watson dialog. When you select to send the error report to Microsoft, and even log entery is made for the Watson report which is sent. What you should look for is an event log for this Watson report.

It will look like something like:
Fault bucket 959598562, type 5
Event Name: CLR20r3
Response: Not available
Cab Id: 0

We are looking for that 9 digit number.

Btw, i have at lease 100 errors like this:

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\Remote Debugger\ia64\msvsmon.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls,language="*",processorArchitecture="ia64",publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df",type="win32",version="6.0.0.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

Hello,

When this crash occurs, do you get a Watson Error Report beign sent? If so, an event log entry is made with a 9-digit watson ID. It woudl help tremendously for you to send the report, check your event log, and retrieve the ID for us.

Thanks,
