User(s) can reproduce this bug
Unlike most tool windows in Visual Studio 2010, the Find and Replace window does not properly remember its size and position. Each time the window opens, it is a little wider than the previous time. Eventually, the window becomes so wide that it exceeds the width of the monitor. This is annoying, and makes it impossible to arrange tool windows into layouts.

Steps to Reproduce

1) Open the Find and Replace window by executing a "Find", "Find in Files", "Replace", or "Replace in Files" command

2) Arrange the window as desired, noting its width

3) Close the window

4) Open the window again, by executing another "Find", "Find in Files", "Replace", or "Replace in Files" command

5) Repeat steps 1 - 4 several times. The window will continuously grow in width each time

Actual Results

The window gets a little wider each time it is opened

Expected Results

The window should retain the same size and position as the last time it was closed, just as most other tool windows do

Not sure why it is not mentioned here, but there's a QFE for this now:

Dear Microsoft fellows,

it's very important to create a hotfix or publish a workaround to solve this resizing problem for Find and Replace window.
This current Find and Replace window in Visual Studio 2010 is becoming annoying.

The Find Dialog growing is a known issue that we will be fixing for SP1.
