Description

The following code crashes the linker in VS2010 Pro. I can reproduce this crash every time and have no ususual settings for the linker. Minimal code to reproduce the crash is included in steps to reproduce.

Thanks for reporting this bug!

I've been able to reproduce this issue and have verified that it is a regression from VS2008. A fix is in development and will be incorporated into a future release.

You can work around this issue by disabling optimizations for the function that is causing the compiler to crash: DataStore::GenerateSeed.

In the provided example this can be done by putting the line

#pragma optimization("g", off)

before the definition of DataStore::GenerateSeed.
