1. From trunk_vc2010_compiler_crash.zip sources archive open solution trunk\src\win\smoothernity.sln
2. Try to compile project "smoothernity"

P.S. You will need DirectX SDK February 2010 to compile project.

Project should compile well (it does on GNU C++ in XCode 3.0 and 3.2)

Thank you for your quick reply.

I have just uploaded feedback file. It's called FeedbackID-584664.zip.
Two screenshots and memory dumps are included.
First made with Task Manager, and second - using procdump.exe.

Hope this would help with investigation.

But we were not able to reproduce it with the steps you provided. Could you please attach some screenshots and a crash dump to help us investigate this issue?
