Ran VS 2010 SP1 Beta installer after download. While it was downloading pieces cancelled installed due to not wanting multiple users downloading pieces.

Downloaded ISO version and ran Setup. It asked me if I wanted to remove or reinstall SP1. Since I never installed it, that didn't seem correct.

This is an unfortunate side-effect of the way the SP is packages. The workaround is to choose the "Seinstall SP1" option, which will proceed to install the service pack.
