Steps to reproduce

Hello I'm using Visual Studio 2008 to create an MFC application.

in this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/yew574x1%28v=VS.90%29.aspx web page

you can read that downloading the Samples Pack you can use the common resources to customize your application.

I download it here

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=01AE159F-08CD-495B-8BF4-A48CC395AD7B&displaylang=en

an installed it.

Into the folder I correctly found the CLIPART sample, in the

Visual Studio Samples\1033\C++\MFC\general

path.

In this folder the compiled resource file common.res is missing. The only files I see are the .rc ones plus an htm that repeats the website instruction.
