Steps to reproduce

Open RibbonMDIDemo project from VC2010 Feature Pack samples folder
Make sure "View" pane is floating and just a little bit below "Paste" button
Move mouse over "Paste" button and wait till tooltip is shown

A tooltip is rendered below dockable pane

A tooltip should be rendered above dockable pane

Hello Pat,

Is there any workaround, that we could use until this fix will actually land into ours development environments?

Hello,

Thanks for the report. This issue has been fixed in MFC for the next major release of Visual Studio.
