Workaround(s)
When working with Visual Studio configurations from machine to machine, there is no way to backup\export all of the installed project templates. This includes project templates installed via extensions, installed via applications such as the Visual Studio SDK as well as project templates added through the My Documents\Visual Studio 2010\ProjectTemplates path.

3. Install Windows Identity Foundation SDK
4. Launch Visual Studio 2010
5. Attempt to create a new web site from the File-->New-->Web Site menu item
6. Notice that there is an option to create various Claims-aware applications such as a Claims-aware ASP.Net Web Site

Actual results

Unable to easily backup/export all installed project templates for easy restoration later. Instead, all of the previously installed applications which installed project templates into the Visual Studio IDE need to be installed once again.

Expected results

Be able to easily backup/restore all installed project templates so that they can easily be migrated from machine to machine as well as restored after an uninstall and a re-install. This will avoid the trouble of having to re-install all currently installed applications and extensions which added project templates to the Visual Studio IDE.
